the new we the kings cd came out today! it is soooo good!! it’s called “smile kid” and i love it. the songs are good and upbeat. demi lovato is even featured on one of their songs. the songs i recommend are she takes me high, we’ll be a dream (featuring demi lovato) , heaven can wait, and the story of your life.
a cd i’ve been enjoying is the cascada cd called every time we touch. the group is like a pop/techno kind of group. i love the songs because they are fun to dance and sing along to. the songs i recommend are every time we touch, another you, bad boy, can’t stop the rain, and miracle.

ok so this is just going to be one giant jonas brothers post. i LOVE the jonas brothers and i went to their concert here in houston back in august with one of my best friends. it was amazing!! there was just so much energy and everyone was so excited, including me. from the lighting effects, to the stunts, to the actual live performance was just incredible.
out of all of their albums, i do not have a favorite one, but i do have favorite songs. from their album “jonas brothers”, my favorites are that’s just the way we roll, australia, still in love with you, when you look me in the eyes, s.o.s., and hello beautiful. in a previous post, i have already told you the ones that i like from “a little bit longer”. my favorite songs from “lines, vines, and trying times” are fly with me, poison ivy, hey baby, before the storm (feat. miley cyrus), much better, black keys, and turn right.

christmas music :)
a christmas album came out this week called “a very special christmas album 7″. it features many artists such as colbie caillat, miley cyrus, kristinia debarge, mitchel musso, leighton meester, carrie underwood, and ashley tisdale. i love listening to christmas music sung by artists i enjoy so i really liked this album. the songs i recommend for you are do you hear what i hear?, jingle bell rock, christmas (baby please come home), hark! the herald angels sing, last christmas, and silent night.

JB vs. JB
the new justin bieber album came out this week and it’s called my world. i really liked it because most of the songs are upbeat and fun to dance to. all the songs are really good so i recommend all of them, but these are my favorites: one time, love me, one less lonely girl, and first dance.
a cd i’ve been enjoying is a little bit longer by the jonas brothers. it is their third album and it came out last year. i really like the lyrics because they’re catchy, fun, and easy to relate to. their are some upbeat songs that are just fun to listen to and then there are really good slower songs. the songs i recommend are lovebug, burnin’ up, a little bit longer (my favorite song from the cd), tonight, can’t have you, and shelf.

dashboard confessional and all time low
the new dashboard confessional came out today. their music is alternative/rock so i really enjoy them. the songs i enjoyed were belle of the boulevard, get me right, until morning, even now, and blame it on the changes.
a cd that i’ve been enjoying is all time low’s nothing personal. their sound is alternative and rockish as well. the lyrics are good and the tune is catchy. the songs i recommend are weightless, break your little heart, a party song,and lost in stereo.

carrie underwood :) and secondhand serenade
the new carrie underwood cd came out this week and it is called play on. personally, i’m not a big country fan but i love this cd! she has a beautiful, strong voice and the songs are so good. i recommend quitter, cowboy casanova, undo it, play on, and someday when i stop loving you.
a band that i’ve been enjoying is secondhand serenade. their sound is very acoustic and soft, which i love. the lead singer’s voice is really good too. the lyrics are sweet and relaxing to listen to. the songs i recommend are your call, fall for you, a twist in my story, and goodbye.

FEARLESS: PLATINUM EDITION
taylor swift re-released her latest album fearless with six new songs and it just came out this week. one of the songs is forever and always and it’s a piano version of one of her songs from fearless, which is even better than the original. i recommend every single one of the songs because they are all absolutely amazing. the new songs are jump then fall, untouchable, forever and always (piano version), come in with the rain, superstar, and the other side of the door.
my favorites out the six are forever and always (piano version) and come in with the rain. the lyrics are very sweet and are easy to relate to by a lot of teens.

cartel and colbie caillat
the new cartel cd came out this week and it’s called cycles. it’s really good. the songs i recommend are the perfect mistake, it still remains, and faster ride. the band falls under the alternative category and i really like their sound.
a cd that i’ve been enjoying is colbie callait’s latest album called breakthrough. her lyrics are so cute and sweet and her songs just make you feel happy. i recommend that you listen to fallin’ for you, begin again, you got me, droplets, i never told you, and it stops today.

christmas in october?
ok so i know it’s a bit early for christmas music, but david archuleta has just released an album of christmas songs that came out this week and it is AMAZING! i love his voice and this album of songs is no exception. the songs i enjoyed the most from the cd are joy to the world, o come all ye faithful, silent night, the first noel, o holy night, and have yourself a merry little christmas.

all about taylor swift :)
hello! today i’m going to do an all out taylor swift post today because she is my all time favorite artist. currently, taylor has two albums out right now and i recommend that you listen to both. her music is categorized as country but it’s more of a country/pop crossover. i’m not really a big fan of country but i absolutely love taylor swift. her songs are either written by her or she cowrote it so all of her songs come from personal experiences.
ok on to her albums… taylor’s first album is a self-titled album called taylor swift and it came out a few years ago. i think that this albums has more of a country feel to it because her country accent is more prominent and there are banjos and other country instruments playing in the background. i love the entire album but here are my faves: i’d lie, picture to burn, tim mcgraw, teardrops on my guitar, stay beautiful, should’ve said no, mary’s song (oh my my my), i’m only me when i’m with you, our song, and invisible.
taylor’s second album is called fearless and it came out just last year. this is my favorite album of hers and i recommend the entire cd because i love every single song. this album has more of a pop feel to it. an example of what i mean is the song you belong with me.
